I don't mold this so if you use it for that purpose my review might not be that helpful. I got this wheel to decorate my discarded pots. I want this wheel to spin longer. It had a slight stiffness at the rim of the wheel where your hand could grab to spin it. I wanted to return it but I missed the deadline and I still have it. I still use it for overglaze and underglaze work, but it's not my favorite. That being said, it's definitely solid and feels like it should last with care as long as the rotational resistance works for you. In addition, the underside is dark blue, which I expected black.
