Review on Enhanced HVAC Filtration with FilterBuy 20X25X1 Pleated Furnace Filters by Jeremy Choi

I am writing this after discovering a strange noise coming from my air conditioning unit. Upon closer inspection, my air conditioner was working really hard to get air flowing. It turned out that the air filter had restricted airflow so much that pulling the air filter out caused the filter frame to burst due to the heavy HVAC suction. This is not MERV-11 behavior. And that's not the case if I forgot to change the filters. I'm interested in switching sooner rather than later. Buyer Warning. Pay close attention to the performance of your HVAC as I was under the impression that the particular filter I installed, made by FilterBuy, was not porous enough to allow adequate MERV-11 airflow. The savings are not worth the risk of replacing the HVAC system.
