For use in bike parks, mostly riding on blue trails. I'm 41 and trying to get to work the next day so I wasn't trying to jump 20 feet with cool technique and lightness/ventilation/comfort were my main concerns. I hope I won't put it to the test but I'm sure for what I do it will be strong enough to protect my head from serious injury. It has no MIPS. So if you ride black trails I would recommend spending the extra $50-$100. I had to buy all my gear (knee/elbow pads, pants etc) so I had to stay on a reasonable budget. Also, I read the reviews and realized that it can flatter your cheeks a bit, but I have a narrower jawline, so it's comfortable. It's SO LIGHT and really comfortable, I wish he had spent 4 weeks learning more about other helmets because this one really exceeded all expectations. Going to Trestle in a week and with Covid didn't feel like renting a helmet.
