I love these. They were quite difficult to untangle, but I put them in the kids room as a night light and ran the cord through the window (which faces south, so perfect). Since they don't tuck into the wall, they don't bother my kids and keep my outlets out of the way. They're a little brighter than I was hoping for, but it doesn't seem to cause any sleep issues and they turn on automatically at sunset. The accusation is that they are toast, which is a shame because otherwise they are so perfect. I'm hoping they reach a maximum lifespan of 2 years or the company starts selling a removable battery.
