People with bad reviews don't know what they're doing!

Bad reviews come from people who don't know what they are doing, it worked great on my 2000 Ford Excursion! If you don't want to pay to reprogram your car with a new key and want to have two different keys for different doors, this is what you need. You have to be mechanical to use it, it's not easy. I almost sent it back and gave up, but I found a video showing how easy it is to put that little bearing and spring in place (no). In the beginning it was a little different. Mine had a different number of cups/inserts than new. But it only uses what you have and what you put into it. I turned over the digits of the old lock's "key code" one by one. The key must have been worn as the pair was not level when the key was inserted. I just replaced them with other numbered ones that were on the same layer and they work great. $200-$300 work for $70 and 2 hours time. There is a tool for this bearing and nib, but a cheap ink pen will do. Use the inner part that contains ink to push the bearing and spring it down. The center of it is the perfect size to hold the bearing in place while you push and twist to snap everything together. Much luck!
