This is a good bit set with HSS tips with golden iron oxide coating. They last a long time and include efficient guide tips for all but the smallest bits to minimize "walking" when you start drilling. However, the coating is not titanium nitride. Pilot points make sharpening difficult and are moderately aggressive bits that are difficult to control with a hand drill.
