Review on Monroe MA779 Max Air Adjust Absorber by Dustin Wheeler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just installed these

Update: They've been working for almost 6 years now and they're still working great. I didn't really follow the instructions for deflating, so I usually use 70-120psi pressure almost all the time because the extra stiffness suits my riding style. Every time I tow a heavy trailer, they're in the 130-150 psi range with no problem. A HUGE difference when towing a trailer, the added stiffness of the suspension reduces sway and keeps the truck more level so I don't lose traction. sitting on the front wheels or sitting in the back, I would recommend them to anyone. Original: It's a hassle to install, they're thicker than stock shocks, making it difficult to line up the bushing with the bolt. Dream, perfectly inflated (I used an emergency tire pump as that's all I have at the moment but 90psi is no problem) I routed the lines in the back where the hitch wires would go if I didn't have one genuine trailer hitch that offers the perfect place next to the license plate. I chose to complete this kit with two 5ft sections of split tubing for a little extra protection. So far I haven't had to drill any holes or use the clamps provided I was able to route that enough ok without I gave this 4 stars for 2 reasons s1 the description says white shock absorbers not that much but I have black 2 the boots give off material if they They hold air and seem flexible enough but I'm concerned what that might mean for longevity, I'm not too worried about having to buy another set in a few years, @ $50, it is no big deal, but installing it is a huge pain in the ass.
