Not suitable for foiling, too structured.
Damn, I was really hoping this card would work. I attach gold foil to the box to hold it to the gift bag. One of the positives is that the sticky side is strong enough to hold onto, you don't have to worry. The disadvantage of foiling is that the cardboard is too textured, which is bad for foiling as the foil doesn't stick to every part of the toner. Photos are attached to illustrate my point of view. You can see the difference between textured card stock and smooth paper. In search of sticky smooth cardboard. and yes you can run this through the laminator without ruining the adhesive if you put a piece of regular printer paper on the back to protect it.
