Works as advertised, very satisfied - Review Updated - 11/10/2019

Review Updated - 11/10/2019 - Still very pleased with this product and have used it about 10 times since my last review. The only small problem I noticed is that the batteries die even when I'm not using them. I'm probably not disabling it properly, though I thought it was an auto disable to no avail. That being said, I now just remove the batteries after use and put them back in the next time I use the sensor. Lasts about 15 seconds. Still better than driving to the gas station to get an air pump for my cars. I also use it with my bike, wheelbarrow, handcart, snow blower and lawn mower, all with pneumatic tires. Still very happy with it but with one small note. Initially I used it with rechargeable batteries, but after a while I got fluctuations in the readings. Put new batteries in and it ran for a few more months and then the same problem occurred. I put in fresh non-rechargeable batteries and it has been working fine for a year now. I assume that my batteries (Duracell) are not suitable for this product. Otherwise no problems and I'm still happy with it. First review: I bought this unit because I'm tired of paying for air at gas stations for my cars and also because I have other items that need to be checked/inflated from time to time (bike tires). , wheel arch tyres, snow thrower tyres, etc.). I have an air compressor that I use to blow out our lawn watering system in the fall and thought it could be used to inflate tires as well. My compressor hose had quick couplers that I could use with a tire pressure gauge, a quick coupler didn't seem to fit my hose coupler so I didn't use it. Not sure why, but it didn't really matter. I tested the device on both of our cars, bikes and other tires and it worked great. Mounts easily and pressure readings seem very accurate (tested on 2 handheld gauges). The ability to add/remove air with the controls to zero the required pressure with the built in pressure gauge was very handy and a time saver too. In the past, to remove air, I always had to disconnect the air pressure connector and manually squeeze the air supply rod, often multiple times to get it right. What used to be a somewhat tedious process is now much easier. With changing seasons affecting tire pressures this makes my job easier and also helps eliminate low pressure warnings which can be very annoying (but necessary) for my vehicles. In New Jersey, finding a gas station with an air pump (hopefully working after you've paid) can be a challenge, especially in the winter. So far very satisfied.
