Whoever said money can't buy happiness obviously hasn't bought these headphones. These headphones faithfully reproduce trance (Infected Mushroom, 1200 Micrograms, etc.), heavy metal (Amon Amarth, Iron Maiden, etc.), classical (Dvorak, Beethoven, Mozart, etc.), and post-rock (This Will Destroy You, Pelican). , etc.), even the Dave Matthews Band. The bass is there when you need it and disappears when you don't. I didn't expect such good bass from headphones. I didn't even have to burn through these little guys to get quality sound right out of the box. I am very impressed. It's worth taking some time and trying out the various tips that come with the headphones. Each of them has slightly but significantly different acoustic properties. I prefer the big ones, which offer the best bass response, but I can definitely see some people liking the small ones. Can't speak to durability yet but I expect these earbuds will last a long time provided they are treated with respect. Won't replace my Audio-Technica ART monitors for home use, but are excellent for commuting, office work, or walking around town. Can't recommend enough!
