To be too good to be true!

I knew this product marketing stunt sounded too good to be true, but I wanted to try it and see how it was on my 2010 SRT8 Dodge Challenger with a K&N cold air intake. Here's what I experienced with it: GOOD: - The product is packaged very well and comes with everything needed for installation, which was pretty easy - The gasket is actually aluminum and the anodized red color added to the look of the Motors adds a nice touch. - When accelerating, it makes an air leaking noise, almost like a turbocharged engine BAD: - When the engine is idling and the hood is closed, there is a continuous whine coming from the engine. It's not loud but still annoying - drove the car almost 400 miles and I don't see any improvement in MPG (will update if I see changes) - it's all "improvement in low rpm torque and throttle response" ". promised, neither, in fact it seems to have gotten even worse. CONCLUSION: In my opinion, this is all just hype. Use your hard-earned money for something else!

Pros
  • Maximum Fuel Efficiency
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
