I have 2 husky brothers so I needed something to remind them when they were acting up. The shock is strong enough to make her think. Vibration and alert tone work over long distances although I didn't go to the maximum distance as I don't like my dogs outside the house. But cheap and effective. My dogs tear through everything so a good, simple collar was the way to go as I knew it would fit in anything. My only complaint is that the remotes don't have a belt clip or wrist strap. 2 dogs and unfortunately it happened that the wrong dog was penalized when others tried to use it. So I immediately bought 2 collars in different colors so everyone can tell who is who.
