This is a great way to keep your pet warm in the winter. I took this heating pad/blanket for my cats with their cat house. He slips under the covers on her bed. The cord is chew resistant (important for cats and dogs). Controlling the controller is easy. I can quickly set the desired temperature. It turns on and off with the push of a button. While you may not feel the warmth of a heating pad when you put your hand on it, your pet will feel it when they lay on it. Your bodies will cause heat to an intensity. This is great for my two cats who are older. They just love looking out the window and it puts me at ease knowing they are warm. I like that there is a timer (you can set it up to 10 hours). It takes some time to heat up (about five minutes on cold days). The cushion is the right size for cats or small dogs (21 inches x 17.5 inches). It's not big enough for big dogs. It has a fleece cover that can be removed for washing. I am very happy with this heater. I know my cats will be warm on cold nights.
