There is something wrong with the wood used in the mine. Smells wrong. I asked twice what kind of wood was used and got no answer from either the seller or the manufacturer. The metal bowls and washers also appear to have been made from brushed cheap metal rather than the shinier stainless steel I'm used to. in other pet feeders and washing machines. I wasn't sure if the wood or metal used in this item would be safe for my bird so I returned it. or maybe even bamboo. - Sand and round the edges - they are too rough. - Make the bowl hole large enough to fit standard chicken coops. - Use better quality metal for the bowls and washers. This could have been a great product if made from better materials.
