I bought this jewelry set because my daughter didn't buy a Baby's First Christmas decoration for her son in 2019. I made one for him for 2019 and one for 2020. On the first one I used metal markers and on the second one I used acrylic paints. None of the products smear or spread upon application. I circled each part of the dinosaur with a fine permanent marker. The wood from which these ornaments are made is of the right thickness. not so thick that it's difficult to work with, but not so thin that it looks cheap or breaks easily. I love the fact that the design is only printed on the front, leaving the back blank for special messages or names and dates to be written on it, making the finished product look more like a family heirloom than just another piece of jewelry.
