First, the camera is pretty easy to install. The audio connection required to connect to my phone was a little tricky as there is construction going on behind my house so there is a lot of noise. I had to go through the setup twice. But once connected, it remained stable. Image quality is good. However, it has a full Wi-Fi signal, but I still have to choose smooth video over HD. HD intermittent and not working for no apparent reason. I wanted a device with local storage. The SD card seemed to work fine for a few weeks, but now it shows as 0 MB even after formatting. I'll go ahead and delete it so I can format it separately. Without reading the SD card, nothing is recorded and I cannot play the video. Manually pressing record will record it on my phone, but when will I ever be able to manually catch a hack? This leads to the biggest problem. Notifications do not work if the application is not open. That makes no sense. I played with all the settings in the app and on my phone (Android). At first I got random notifications sometimes, but now I don't get any notifications. When I log into the app there is a long list of alerts that I was never notified of. And there is no warning entry due to SD card issue. I got this camera because I rent a spot in my garden through the Neighbor app and I want to have a camera for myself and rent Neighbor. But so far this camera has been useless for anything other than manual live view. When I get it working I'll update the review, but so far it's been over a month and it's only gotten worse. Another annoying thing. You need to set daylight saving time manually even if it's connected to Wi-Fi and a router. It does not update the time itself.
