I spent too much time studying stainless steel cookware sets, mainly quality control processing, metals for it (no cheap Chinese metals in general, my main concern was leaching or even a hint that this might happen over the years) and reading endless reviews. I really wanted the highest quality cookware that, with proper care, we can use for a lifetime. I finally decided on this special historic steel set for a number of reasons. First, titanium-reinforced 316 steel is more attractive, stronger, less prone to dents and scratches, and simply feels more premium. Also attractive was the fact that they are made in the USA with very high quality control standards. Also deciding factors were the rims with folded edges that allow for easy pouring without spills, the steep handles that are surprisingly cold even after an hour of simmering, and the perfect combination of pots and pans I was looking for. This combo worked perfectly for me because I have a couple of quality non-stick pans for delicate foods and a set of cast iron pans for everything else, so I mainly looked for sets of different sized pots and pans. After a few weeks of use and many new recipes, I absolutely love this cookware set! From small pot to pot, they're all the perfect size, they heat up quickly and very evenly, they clean up beautifully (like new with the bartender friend), and they're just beautiful to boot. If you're not in the thousands this is by far the most amazing quality cookware in this price range, I can't say enough good things about it. You will definitely not be disappointed.
