Great product BUT. - Fuel system

Great product easy to install if you have common sense and read the reviews then I get the answer so good luck! My only and biggest complaint is that it clearly states that the 8-10psi setting is just not true! I bought 2 of these and installed both on DuraMax, my mpg dropped sharply on both '03s, went to the shop where we found the psi pressure was tied to the 15psi gauge. And yes, it was connected to the factory connector just before entering the CP3 pump. The end result was that they turned the regulator all the way "counterclockwise" and could only get it down to 9.5psi. On my '08 I actually installed a 1/2" inline fuel gauge between the airdog and the factory hardline. MFGR and was instructed to remove the pump, disassemble it down to the spring and disconnect the spool from the spring"cut", reinstall and repeat if necessary. What? Seriously folks, do you expect the customer to do that? Obviously you have quality issues. Control and customer service Basically, people don't believe everything you read spend $30 , buy an inline fuel level sensor and test it since the factory can't, and save yourself an injector and a CP3 job.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
