When I last visited my family, my cousin used to sneak into my room while I was sleeping! My door opens easily with a flat head screwdriver or even a coin! So I needed a cheap alternative to keep it locked while in my room and it worked! The build quality is good. I don't see that turning point anytime soon, maybe never. Comes with full page and COLOR instructions! (Spanish on the other side), a fancy bag (pretty cheaply made, no big deal) and a lock itself. It looks like the door will close normally with the device inside, but that just makes the door tighter . As long as it can hang on a closed door, stick a red wedge and that's it! THE DOOR IS LOCKED! LOCKED OR UNLOCKED! Also easy to remove in an emergency. No tools, no drill, no hassle. Suitable for any door as long as the clamp plate fits between the door and wall/moulding. Now my cousin won't come into my room while I'm sleeping! *** This only applies if you are INSIDE! and keep people away! If you need to lock it when you're not there, you'll need another doorknob with a lock and keys: an optional deadbolt. Otherwise for the price compared to the original brand, WORTH IT!
