Review on ๐ŸŒ™ Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4 Review: Premium AMD AM4 Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (Brown) by Alif Eagle

It fits much better than I expected

The instructions weren't very good on some things. 1.) The airflow direction isn't in it at all and it's hard to figure out by looking at the actual fan housing, but there is an arrow at the bottom that you don't normally see when pouring. The only other problem I had was that I initially put 4 long screws on the wrong side of the motherboard and then it's a bit difficult to align and screw the 4 grommets (one at a time) with the properly aligned mounting rods (Original) support plate. it just took a little while to get it right. Nowhere in the instructions does it say that this entire assembly can be inserted into the motherboard without removing it from the case. This will save you about an hour of messing around with all the other cables. It's almost impossible to measure it beforehand I think because there is no example of how and because of all the 3D geometry and possible obstacles of the graphics card, DRAM and components based on the height of each. I would reuse the THERMALTAKE fan on the DRAM as the second fan since on my DRAM the included second fan covered the cover by about 1/2 inch, but now the smaller ThermalTake fan I removed fits perfectly as the second fan . a smaller (about 3/4 inch on each side) fan. The peak temperatures I am currently seeing are not yet exceeding 55ยฐC. but peaked at around 81ยฐC earlier when rendering on DaVinci 16. This fan assembly is also very quiet. I really like it, partly because I can't hear it at all, and it works well.
