Do you want Bing Lee to be honest?
Do you think that the whole product range is available always at the cheapest price?
If your answer is yes, then I've got some bad news for you.
The tags' description clearly states that their model number is BP20-NP . However, the one you can buy from BingLee now costs $219 -> link to the web page.
They do have a disclaimer on their site saying stock availability may vary but still I don't think it's right for them to take advantage of people like me who were ready to pay double the price! It would be different if they notified clients before hand so they could decide whether or not to proceed with the purchase... But no, I was just browsing around and all of sudden I noticed how expensive everything had become!
I think I was just unlucky and it will never happen again to me right? Well, I've had similar experiences in the past. It's always when they have a "special offer"! For example: Last year on Boxing day I went online to see if any of the shops had special deals on their toys. To my surprise most of them did (over 50%) but BingLee didn't...
I called up one of the stores and asked whether or not their prices were discounted for that particular day only, he told me that all of their stock was full price because by law shops aren't allowed to sell goods cheaper than what they paid themselves. So maybe if we compare this with what is happening here there is some truth behind the law.
I'd like to hear what other people think about this because maybe I'm just being unfriendly towards BingLee, but after my last experience with them I don't trust them anymore. So feel free to add your thoughts in the comment section below this article.
Bing Lee is a well-known online retailer but does it have the best deals? Well, that's subjective. But in terms of price comparison with other stores for this product ($149) BingLee was not giving me the best deal when I checked on December 18th, 2017. Their prices were almost double what they had been just before Christmas - which took advantage of customers who weren't aware and ready to buy at higher rates.
