Review on Oregon OR534 516A OREGON Grinding Wheel by Dave Giri

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality saw chain sharpening wheel

The wheel is the most important part of the saw chain sharpener - it is the part that comes into contact with the cutting edges and performs the sharpening. I am very happy with the quality of the Oregon discs. As with all vitreous grinding wheels, they should be cleaned frequently for constant exposure to fresh abrasive for clean cuts; I wear mine lightly about once per chain loop. I prefer this 5/16" wheel over the 1/4" wheel for adjusting depth gauges ("rakers") because of the extra width. A good choice if it matches your coffee grinder.
