Well, I don't usually leave reviews. Most things I buy from Revain are either ok or not up to date. And I have better things to do than complain about a product online. But these loops are the exception. It took less than 10 minutes to install 3 hinges. Pro tip, do one at a time, starting in the middle. Then two others if you do all three. I have a fairly heavy door so I assumed I would need all 3, but I could probably get by with 2 with more tension (I have all 3 on two turns). As mentioned, I have a heavy solid wood door. I ordered them on the assumption that they probably wouldn't close the door all the way, but at least it would prevent the kids from leaving the door open all the time. Well, they close the door completely with only half the recommended force on the hinge! Pretty damn amazing. I rent an apartment. I'm always looking for small upgrades/modifications that I can make without ruining the place and they fit the bill quite well. These loops are beautiful and well made. It's nice to buy something affordable that doesn't come from China for a change. I can go on forever. You are worth every penny. A hinge costs the same as a cheap standard hinge made in China at my local hardware store. Stop looking and take it.
