We grandparents ordered this kit for our granddaughter to use with her pink Royal Baby 14" bike. has all sorts of adjustments to fit it, after which it attaches with a click. The downside is that my granddaughter resisted this helmet for weeks, preferring her own with Iroquois spikes. But now she wears it. She was in an accident (wearing a pink helmet) with no damage other than her palms. She recovered quickly after putting a band-aid on her hand. The result is pads. So far she has resisted wearing pads. It may be more accommodating now as it fell off one day, the pads seem great but are still in like new condition. ;-)
