Review on 🌡️ Proster Digital Thermocouple Temperature Thermometer: Dual Channel K-Type Thermometer with Backlight LCD and Two K-Type Thermocouple Probes for Various Types (K/J/T/E/R/S/N) by Kurt Manning

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent quality, good gauge, sensors are ok

Good for the price (but assuming the thermocouples aren't very accurate). Comparison with a calibrated Fluke thermocouple reader (see figures): - Assuming thermocouples have large welds and give a reading about 2°C lower than Fluke (ambient temperature and boiling water). - Using Fluke thermocouples like Fluke and this gauge, the readings were less than 1°C off and very close to 100°C for boiling water. This device responds slightly slower than the Fluke even when using the same probe (5 second delay). The device appears to be made of plastic, but what do you expect for $20! than Fluke when you don't need a calibrated measurement.
