Update: Batteries seem to be working fine! A very good game camera for the price and for my needs. I managed to find out what ate my tomatoes in the middle of the night. It turned out to be squirrels and a raccoon! I like that there are two mounting options. In the woods I would probably use a strap, but in the yard I could attach it to a fence with a ratchet strap. The controls are simple, and the image quality and night vision are about what you'd expect from a budget camera. The only downside is that it requires 8 AA batteries and rechargeable batteries are not recommended. Besides, I'm happy.
