Difficult to install on a concrete wall

Looks great once installed but I had a tough time installing it. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but there were no instructions. During installation, I drilled a screw hole in my concrete wall, installed a concrete anchor, and installed the backplate. But when installing the cover, it didn't work properly because there wasn't enough space between the back panel and the wall for the cover to properly grip the back panel. I had to install some washers between the back panel and the wall to create the space needed for the cover to grip the back panel. But the washers kept the backplate from snagging on the wall and when trying to install the cover the backplate kept rotating. I had to put another screw into the wall through one of the other holes in the back panel to keep it from turning. Only then was I able to finish installing this product and it looks great. It may be easier to install it on drywall.

Pros
  • Built on a strong but inexpensive base of forged brass or stainless steel
Cons
  • Not sure
