Review on πŸš— AccuGage Dial Tire Pressure Gauge by Tim Harrington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Constant pressure control is difficult

I agree with the reviewer who said the gauge is different than expected in 5 pound increments but works well. I had to use a Schrider valve adapter to inflate the tires, remove them and then check the pressure, which is very difficult to repeat and made it even more of a hassle to recheck the pressure or air loss due to the pressure gauge stuck to the valve. My main complaint, which could improve over time, is that when trying to remove the gauge, it sticks to the valve stem threads and won't let air through. It seems like if the gauge were smooth in the "hole" it wouldn't be able to stick, so I don't know why it sticks to the valve stem threads like it's rough or threaded. In the end I decided it was much better to just buy a Serfas floor pump. A TCPG bicycle floor pump with a built-in pressure gauge. Only use this gauge on the road as it was hard to guess how much pressure is being added or lost with adapters.
