Review on ๐Ÿ›ด Voyage Sports X8 Folding Scooter, Adjustable Height, Light-Up Wheels by Michael Maes

Doesn't "fold " in a convenient way; Still need an adult to 'fold' and 'open'

My daughter has grown a lot during the quarantine! She had a 6KU scooter similar to this one. She got it for her 6th birthday and one day after learning to lean, turn and brake she used it every day! It folds up so easily, this one WILL NOT. We took it on vacation to the beach etc. We were able to raise the steering wheel before quarantine and used it until she was almost 8 years old. She would have used it longer but our park/playground was locked and we were told to hide in place for over a year. Unfortunately, after a year we found out that she was too small when we were allowed to play in the park. She turned 9 in April and we bought her as a birthday/rabbit day present. We wanted a larger version of the 6KU but couldn't find one. This is the scooter that comes closest to it. It's ROSE! It spins the same, has glowing wheels, and will grow a few more inches with her. This scooter is also reasonably priced. I deducted two stars because you have to completely remove the handlebars and move them differently to "fold" the scooter. The 6KU had a release that my daughter could pull herself to open and close the scooter. I am very disappointed that this scooter will not be making as many trips to the beach with us this summer. Attempting to detach the steering wheel and put it back in any other way is not possible for my daughter or me (I have carpal tunnel and cannot turn the steering wheel). Check out the videos and photos for a comparison to the 6KU and how easy it folds and folds. Together we removed the handlebars from the scooter and placed it in the 'stowed' position for photos. Now we can't reassemble the steering wheel to bring it back to a vertical position! This is very frustrating.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Everything is fine
