Review on πŸ”ͺ High-Quality 9" L Reciprocating Saw Blade, 5 pk.: A Reliable Cutting Companion by Carl Henderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much better than expected!

I wasn't expecting much from these blades. Wow, I was wrong. I originally bought them for situations where scissors won't do the trick and you don't feel like using a handsaw or chainsaw. I also bought a pack of 5 blades thinking these blades would dull and warp quickly. After a good windy rain a maple tree fell in the back of my garden taking many vines with it. My chainsaw broke because I gave it to a friend, if you know what I mean. I decided to take them, clean my 18v hackzall, all my batteries and the small parts. I figured I would cut small branches and part of the trunk 3" or less in diameter. Well I did and more. Remember that I used my Hackzall and not the Sawzall, I was able to cut about 6" diameter parts of the barrel with relative ease. I was also able to make about 30 cuts from 1/2" diameter branches and vines to a 6" diameter trunk with 2 fully charged red lithium XC batteries. Live vines were the most difficult to prune, mainly because they were difficult to keep stable. 6 inch diameter branches were cut in less than 2 minutes. The best part was being able to hold the 2 foot section with one hand and the hackzall with the other and deflect the falling barrel away from me. trees. It's still spicy! I plan to use this kit to remove 4-6 diameter limbs while on the stairs. I wanted to pursue a career as I don't like the idea of flying a chainsaw in the air. But with these blades there shouldn't be any problems!
