Let me preface this review by saying that I am by no means an esports gamer or a PC fanatic. Up until last year I was playing on laptops. For me, gaming is a hobby, not a source of income, so my needs may be less than those of a professional streamer. When I first set up and prepped my gaming PC I was so happy with it and loved the upgrade to my laptop. . I originally used a Best Buy 32 inch monitor and really liked it and didn't notice much of a problem at first. However, as I started playing more and different games, I noticed a significant increase in screen tearing, crashing, slow loading, and screen resolution issues with some games. After some research I found that I had bought a freesync monitor and not a gsync monitor. Before that, I had no idea what all those things actually meant. I didn't think it could make much of a difference which monitor I use and I figured bigger = better for screen size. I was very, very wrong. After some research I decided on this monitor because of the price. As soon as I plugged it in, the difference was *immediately* evident, even with something as simple as the smooth movement of the mouse icon. In games, the graphics immediately became cleaner, load times were reduced to a few seconds, screen tearing and freezes were completely gone, frame rates were able to remain more consistent at higher speeds, and I no longer had issues with odd text sizes/clarities due to resolution. This monitor has completely changed my gaming experience and I am very happy!
