Excellent sound quality, snug fit in the ears (takes some getting used to), and interchangeable ear pads help prevent the headphones from feeling like suction cups. I preferred the sony mdr ex650ap, which included a thinner wire and higher-quality ear pads but frequently malfunctioned. A headset can be purchased for anywhere from $2500 and $3500 and provide essentially the same audio quality. If you're going to use headphones at all, I suggest Sony's because they're obviously more practical and have a more engaging bass.
