Great pump, but you have to know: It's a vane pump with an automatic bypass. Switch on the power, the motor starts and the pump section immediately goes into bypass mode. It goes into "pump" mode when you pull the trigger on the dispenser. Read the instructions for recommendations as you shouldn't run it in bypass mode for too long. Also, the dispenser doesn't stand halfway, it's either fully open or fully closed. If you try to meter slowly, the pump will cycle between "pump" and "bypass" modes, resulting in a burst of fuel, an eruption, and expensive gas splatter all over the place. Also, it doesn't turn off automatically when the tank is full. You must be careful not to overfill your tank. Imagine you had to take responsibility in this day and age. Well, you're pumping flammable liquids, you better take personal responsibility quick, mate. We recommend that you also purchase a hose swivel and an integrated fuel filter to improve performance.
