Review on Adjustable Temperature Adhesive - HB220 with UX8012 by Dexter Rasberry

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The weapon emits gases; smells.

I had a lot of glue guns. Thinking I could work faster/better with an expensive temperature controlled gun, I bought a Pam HB220. It comes in a sturdy plastic case. This is a beautiful pistol; lies comfortably in the hand; quickly heats up glue sticks; melted glue flows out quickly. It seemed like money well spent. Until I smelled bad air freshener. what is it from? Does the glue stick? nope The material I glued? Not even that. It came from the gun itself; the? It got super powerful. Opened the doors. Open windows. I was hoping this would clear up after a few hours of use; That didn't happen. I contacted Revain's helpful CSR staff; I returned it. They sent a replacement. I opened the case without even turning on the gun, I found it had the same odor problem. Went back (thanks, Revain). If you're sensitive to "smelly things" like me, I recommend looking elsewhere.
