What a great purchase! I can't stand plastic wrap and was looking for an alternative and didn't expect it to be exactly what I need. Traditional plastic wrap is fickle, doesn't stick to everything, some things need a lot more "real" air, not to mention they're bad for the environment. These lids are easy to clean, stick to almost everything I've tried (see attached apple photo) and make me feel so much better without wasting more plastic. We all have areas where we can improve and these silicone caps make it so easy to reduce single use plastic! So far I've used it for different fruits, all kinds of bowls, glasses and cups. to a friend's house to color her hair, I measured out the colors and developer into my paint tray and was able to cover it with one of those travel lids. Someone stopped abruptly in front of me and my bag flew through the air. When I received it, the bowl was literally upside down and not a drop came out. If it was foil my car would be covered! Now it just doesn't seem to sit perfectly on everything. One thing I do when it looks like it should fit and doesn't, I turn the lid upside down and it almost always works! It's also a little weird to save, so I'm still figuring it out. Very satisfied, a good product so far and I hope it lasts a long time! Now I'll be on the lookout for reusable silicone bags and I'll feel better about less plastic waste.
