The plastic that needs to fit the slots is not very flexible and will not fit or stay in place in most places. It fits between the main parts of the dashboard, but that's about it. Elsewhere around the door, the black plastic sits too low, causing the chrome to pop. The chrome looks nice and fits well where you'd probably want it around the doors/dash if you can find a way to keep it. I ended up cutting off most of the black plastic and used super glue in the cracks to hold it in place. It requires too many tweaks to make it useful, but if you have the patience, it might work. This was on f150 so it might work well with other models/manufacturers.
