Hello, I started out as a hotshotter towing cars for the return trip. I bought them first and they worked fine the first few times and then the ratchets started to lock poorly and didn't work smoothly. The strap came undone several times and even fell off. I can't say it's solely due to the straps as the straps can come undone while driving. I bought another set advertised as heavier for about 25. more and they work much better and I have more confidence in my load.
