Everything a beginner needs to get started with simple woodworking projects. The set is extensive and you can open it and get started right away. The only thing I need to buy is a pair of smooth (i.e. no teeth) needle nose pliers because I don't have any. I had fun playing around with the tool and a few tips, and I didn't even do a formal project, I was just testing it. It gets very hot and burns well. I still have to play a bit to understand how to apply pressure and how to move it. I look forward to starting the actual project I have in mind. If you don't have a specific project, you can use one of the attached drawings. It also smells nice when you use it. Pros: Highly detailed set includes 12 tips, wood burning tool, coasters, colored pencils, carbon paper and blueprints. Cons: The pliers needed to change the attachments aren't included, but it really doesn't matter and most people can put these in their shopping cart or go to their local hardware store to pick them up.
