Review on 👻 Spooky Department 56 Accessory: Swinging Ghoulies Figurine for Villages by Katie Chisholm

I collect Dept. 56 for many years. The now retired Spinning Pumpkins ride is my absolute favorite. I wanted another Halloween themed ride and based on the good reviews I chose this one. Well when it arrived one of the branches in the connection was loose. I could fix it, but it wasn't easy. It consists of 2 parts and you need to screw the top (treetop) to the base. It looked easy, but it took me a while to realize that the "rather tight" rule didn't apply in this situation; This continued counterclockwise. However, what disappointed me the most were the jack-o'-lanterns at the base of the tree. In the youtube video of this trip they seem to glow and look very neat which is why I decided to purchase this item in the first place but when it arrived I found Jack-o'-lanterns are made out of hard resin. and don't light up at all, there was just a light effect in the video to make them look like this. A bit misleading if you ask me. However, the swing itself works perfectly and the motor is quiet. Edit: The jack o lanterns are neon colored so if you put them in a very dark room they will glow.
