Slippery carpet and weak adhesive
The fluffy material was more slippery than the hardwood I was trying to cover, especially with socks. It literally made my steps more dangerous. Also, the adhesive backing wasn't very sticky which makes them very easy to install and lift if they need to be replaced for proper placement after installation, but unfortunately they seem cheap and inconsistent. A careless walker can easily get caught on the edge of a piece and the whole thing will move.
