Review on Furbo Dog Camera: Treat Tossing & 2-Way HD Pet Cam with Alexa – As Featured on Ellen by Luis Thompson

First let me say that once you get it working it will work fine. The main thing is that it works properly. Read the reviews here and more specifically about the app. When setting it up, I initially had trouble with the Bluetooth connection to set it up. I restarted the setup and bluetooth a few times and had to factory reset Furbo before I finally got around to setting up the first part. Then I tried the app and it crashed every time. Restarted phone and still crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and at first it didn't crash anymore. I also had to reset the WiFi on the Furbo at least once. After all these resets, reboots, reboots, I finally got it working. There are basically no instructions, they rely on the app for everything, and when it crashed like mine it didn't help much. Luckily I know what to try. It's really disappointing to read app reviews (which I didn't read before purchasing) when I know how long this product has been around and all the issues it still has with setup. It looks like they need people working on the software. Lack of setup troubleshooting and setup difficulties are 2 stars. Once I got it working, it actually works as advertised. The picture quality is good, the viewing angle is good. The sound she makes when she tosses the treat will draw the dog's attention. It's fun to watch what dogs do when you're not around and how they respond to your voice, even if they're not entirely sure where it's coming from. I'm not sure I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. with the problem setting straight. I'd recommend doing some research and if you want or need that, just be prepared for some setup issues.
