better than expected. Brighter than expected. I wasn't sure about this device because it was very cheap. Don't let the low price deter you from buying. I have attached 2 photos. Black and white image with my WYZE v2 camera and color image with my phone camera. Very easy to install. I installed this with a rod extension. (A 10ft bar is the top chain rail, $15 at Lowes.) I had to fold back the end of the bottom cover to accommodate the extension. I used an old extension cord by cutting off the receiving end and plugging it into a light fixture. Pull the string through the pole. Attach the extension to the pole with a self-tapping screw and a VIOLA! Works perfectly! I am a 59 year old woman and if I can do it, anyone can
