We have replaced a 150w HPS bulb that has decided to burn out its ballast. This one is much smaller but has a similar design concept. It turns on for a few seconds during the day when the power goes out to make sure everything is connected properly. No pipe clamp is supplied. This clamp comes with a pipe mount I believe. If you don't have one, it's time to bend some metal on the existing wall mount cover to make sure it doesn't come loose from the existing pipe mount.

Installed out of town. Has worked fine for 4 months. Now only 1/3 of the light is on. By the way, they never turn off. I also think the photocell is defective. I just installed another one as I didn't know it was out of service. UPDATE 11/23/21 The company has contacted me to resolve the issue. They offered a replacement or refund. I took them for a refund they delivered quickly. By the way, the 2nd light mentioned in the original review still works well. Rating changed from 1 to 4 stars.

They are so bright! Do not install it near the headlight - the light will be reflected and turn itself off - then turn on, then turn off. Also disassemble the lamp - the photocell is made of transparent plastic - the lamp turns off from the inside. I have installed over 20 of these lamps in different places. This is a good profile light for malls that casts cool white light directly onto the ground below but also has some directional light that acts as a safety light but not yet glare, yes problem with Turning the flash on and off when plugged in, tried to extend the area around the sensor with the tube but it didn't work, tried connecting the green wire to the white for ground but it didn't work, we got 6 bought one of these and everyone has this problem, come back and get a more reliable product,

They are bright, distribute the light evenly over a large area, appear to be of high quality, at least on the outside, and look good.
