I used a pusher to make a delicious mojito. I then washed it in the dishwasher and found that the black head was full of water. I looked again at the ad and could only find the hand wash instructions. According to the instructions, it can be washed in the dishwasher. I missed the review that said not to wash the dishwasher. It took forever to shake the water out of him. You can't remove the head and I assume water is getting in where the black head meets the steel bar. I think a better design would seal that area or make it so you can remove it and clean it thoroughly. I'll try to fill that gap with something, but I'm afraid mold will start to form inside over time. I would have sent it back if I hadn't recycled the packaging.
