Review on Sony 50DMR47SP DVD R 4 7GB Recordable by Mark Hicks

I bought two spindles for 50 new Sony DVDs. I opened one and out of the first 15 DVDs I tried, 5 failed. I spent extra money on a Sony product that has been a good product in the past. But certainly not this time. I can't trust a DVD to burn - period. If I could figure out how to return the item at this point I would as at least I won't be using the spindle I opened. I will try the second spindle but am very disappointed with this product. I understand that one can come across bad DVDs from time to time, but 33% of the selected DVDs are bad - not a very good product.
