The helmet seems pretty sturdy and I like the head strap locking feature. BUT. The specified size for LARGE is incorrect. I have a 24" skull and I bought it on purpose because the chart says LARGE fits up to 25" tall, but it doesn't fit my head at all. Too small. I had to remove the entire (thin) gasket to get it to fit. And the open velcro with hook is uncomfortable on the forehead. Now I don't have time to order another one at the beach before next week, so I'll have to look locally. I will return it for a refund
