So far so good, salt water in the tropics, good test.
As with all things made in China, care must be taken. I bought things that were supposed to be 316 stainless steel and rusted after 3 months. These thimbles have a very low magnetic attraction so far so good, time will tell. One came with a very small defect at the top of the fold that I can fix, hence 4 stars.
