You can use ANY lamp with it. Some other brands will not work with incandescent bulbs. (Read their ad carefully, I almost made a mistake.) Just screw them into the base of the candelabrum and insert a standard lightbulb. Just. I got frustrated after buying some HUE bulbs for my wall lights and forgot they took the candelabra base. It was the solution. HUE lights work great with them. Gives me the ability to use them in multiple fixtures around the house that wouldn't normally take a standard lightbulb. Many advantages. Three minuses. (1) They were not free. (2) They increase the height by about an inch. (3*) My HUE lights work with it. *Now I will buy more HUE bulbs to fix devices that don't normally work. (If you're reading this article, don't worry - we'll recoup our investment in these bulbs in time...if I live a few hundred years and the bulbs still work. - lol)
