Great little tool with lots of useful features! This tool helped me do the best embossing job ever! I've been doing house caulking jobs here and there for quite some time with unacceptable results, but with this tool, my caulk looks better than ever. I was able to quickly remove the old gasket using a metal tip on one end of the tool as well as a piece of plastic for the remaining residue. The white rubber tips allowed me to smooth out the new silicone sealant for a perfect finish. A few tips: Before you start sealing, use blue painter's tape between the areas you want to seal to ensure the seal is even and consistent. smooth; smooth. Then dip the white rubber tip in hot water just before you begin. This makes the silicone harder to stick to the tip, making it easier to clean. When you're done with the section, remove the tape immediately but carefully. I checked out this method on YouTube and it really made a big difference. In other videos you've tried smoothing the joint with a disposable plastic spoon, but the spoons don't work as well as the rubber tips on this tool - trust me, I've tried with less than desirable results! All in all, this is a very reliable tool that will get your embossing job done right and at a very reasonable price!
