There is a metal scraper screwed on the pictures. The product actually has a plastic scraper that broke off almost immediately. It's also pretty squishy. I would not recommend this product.

This tool was used to remove silicone sealant around a tub. It helped remove large pieces, but I still had to use a razor blade scraper for small things. When applying the new caulk, I placed painter's tape next to the joint and then used a tool to flatten the new bead. It was way better than using my finger and ended up with a nice job. This is a cheap tool for removing and applying sealant. For the price, it does these things pretty well. The sliding portion, which slides out to reveal a finishing tool instead of a plastic scraper, doesn't latch, which is awkward to use but works well enough. I've been doing house caulking jobs here and there for quite some time with unacceptable results, but with this tool, my caulk looks better than ever.
